Crazy Crafters February Blog Hop - Guest: Patty Bennett

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop for February. This month the Theme is CASING Patty Bennett - We were to choose a card/project of Patty's and CASE - Copy and Selectively Edit. We hope you find great inspiration from the projects. You may be just starting the blog hop here at my blog - Katie Kaup, or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Katie Kaup.

Can I just say Patty Bennett makes some amazing projects, so when it was time to choose just ONE to CASE, it was incredibly difficult nevertheless, here is the one I chose:

Crazy Crafters Team Projects Highlight

Here is my project for this weeks Crazy Crafters Highlight:

I don't normally use these particular colours but I thought I would just try something different for a change. The colours are: Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip.
I used the Grateful Bunch Stamp set with the co-ordinating Blossom Bunch Punch.

Global Design Project #GDP022 Sketch Challenge

For the GDP Challenge this week I thought I would enter this card,
I created this for my mum for her birthday. I embossed all the swirly scrolls in the background and also the edging of the sentiment circle, I hope you like it!

Kylie Bertucci's Crazy Crafters Team Projects

We were informed by Kylie that she was going to be highlighting her team, the Crazy Crafters on her blog. We were to create a project using only CURRENT product and blog about it.
Since I have a friend's upcoming baby shower to attend I thought I would blog my card I created for her.. Since she is not finding out the gender of the baby I thought it was safe to use the colours Blushing Bride, Pool Party, Whisper White and So Saffron.
Using the Circles Collection Framelits Dies and my 1" Circle Punch I opted for a little punch art to make the rattle. The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments Stamp Set  and the Banner is from the Number of Years Stamp Set cut-out using the matching Large Numbers Framelits Dies.
Check out what happened when I used the Clear Wink of Stella Pen on the top of the rattle. It created a cloudy hue over it adding just a touch of sparkle.
Here is the complete list of products used.

Global Design Project #021/Colour Challenge

Okay, so I decided to have a go at the Global Design Project Challenge this time around as I had this great idea and I just loved the colours chosen for this Colour Challenge! So thanks to Brian King for choosing them!!!
The colours were:

Here's my project:

I used Bermuda Bay for the base, and then layered the Wisteria Wonder and Melon Mambo Cardstock. Whisper White for the top layer and I added a bit of dimension to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. I used the amazing Sky is the Limit Stamp set from the New Sale-a-Bration Catalogue (This one is only available until the 15th Feb!!!) The little washi tape stamps on the side were from the new Timeless Textures Stamp Set from the Occasions Catalogue and I fussy-cut them out. Lastly, a bit of silver metallic thread, a vintage faceted button and don't forget a splash of Clear Wink of Stella pen for the cloudy love heart and this card was done.

This picture isn't very clear but I was trying to show you the Wink of Stella pen. Check out the products I used below:
